Allows therapeutic drugs by optometrists. 1978 – The Asia Pacific Council of Optometry (APCO) began when International Federation of Asia and Pacific Association of Optometrists was formed. 1978 – The Latin American Association of Optometry and Optics (ALDOO) was founded.
