About the conference: Among other themes, the conference will focus on myopia and best practice models for its management, big data and artificial intelligence, human resource challenges and legislative frameworks. On the pre-conference day (13 October), there will be specialty sessions that will ensure all cadres of optometry – students, practitioners, educators and researchers will benefit. The main days of the conference (14 &15 October) will encompass plenary and parallel sessions. Plenary sessions will include keynote lectures and panel discussions by thought leaders in eye health. Parallel sessions will include talks and panel discussions on clinical optometry, public eye health, practice trends in various disciplines, and paper and poster presentations.
