The World Health Organization’s (WHO) Eye Care in Health Systems: Guide for Action aims to be a practical resource for countries to analyze, plan, implement, and review integrated people-centered eye care. It also links four tools (right) developed by WHO to support country planning.
In April 2021, WCO’s Board of Directors unanimously passed WCO’s Resolution for the Standard of Care for Myopia Management by Optometrists.
Integrated Care for Diabetes and Eye Health: A Global Compendium of Good Practice provides insight into innovative approaches to integrating eye health with diabetes management and control.
