We hope you will join the World Council of Optometry (WCO) as we promote eye health and vision care as a human right. The WCO could not continue to make the impact we do in the development of global optometry without the support of our members!
Our members:
- allow us to advance optometric education and legislation around the world
- support us in providing resources in areas where optometry is still developing
- enable us to provide assistance to countries regarding regulatory and scope of practice issues
- provide support for us to maintain positive relationships with global health care organisations and our six world regions

The World Optometry Foundation (WOF) is a not-for-profit organization that finances the development of optometry around the world to reduce avoidable blindness. The WOF’s registration in the United States allows companies and corporations based within the United States to take advantage of US tax allowances on charitable giving.
Donate to Make a Difference!
Your donation to WOF supports programs and projects that develop or enhance education in optometry schools, provide educational materials and clinical equipment to impoverished nations and/or create public health programs and community outreach initiatives.
