Mr. Massimo Revelli, ECOO Regional Representative

Mr. Revelli was born in Torino in Northern Italy on July 25th, 1953.

After graduating from High School (Liceo Classico) in Italy, he spent a year as AFS student in Marion, Iowa (U.S.A.) and received his U.S. High School Diploma.

When Mr. Revelli returned to Italy, he went to University and graduated in Mechanical Engineering, a five-year course.

He worked for several companies, but mainly in Nuovo Pignone (now General Electric Oil and Gas) as product manager for Gas reinjection stations On and Off-shore, and in Alcatel Italia where he became Director of the telecommunication cable network Division for the export market.

Mr. Revelli decided then to change his life and in 2000 went back to school to become an Optician (Opticians in Italy correspond to WCO level 1 Optometrist) and began working as shareholder of an Optician shop in Florence (Italy).

Few years later he was appointed by Federottica (Italian Opticians Optometrists Association) as the delegate for International Affairs.

In 2019, Mr. Revelli was elected President Elect of ECOO.

Mr. Revelli currently serves as an ECOO Regional Representative on the WCO Board of Directors and is a member of the WCO Public Health Committee.
