In order to best serve optometry in your country/region, it is important that you understand what is currently in place, the successes, aspirations and challenges.  The information supplied will form the basis for the development of Optometry in the country/region as it will enable your representatives to approach government and plan strategies with empirical data. You may not be able to complete all of the sections fully, but this is a starting point, and will also highlight any gaps in education, legislation, and regulation, which will aid your lobbying efforts.
